2 Based on 3,283 facilities that reported both residential clients and residential beds designated for substance abuse treatment. Of the 3,781 facilities reporting non-hospital residential services, 3,378 received questions on client counts. Excluded were: a) 200 facilities whose client counts were reported by another facility; and b) 203 facilities that included client counts for other facilities.
3 Based on 867 facilities that reported both hospital inpatient clients and hospital beds designated for substance abuse treatment. Of the 1,069 facilities reporting hospital inpatient services, 1,001 received questions on client counts. Excluded were: a) 45 facilities whose client counts were reported by another facility; and b) 23 facilities that included client counts for other facilities.
