TEDS Crosswalks TEDS Crosswalks provide detailed information concerning how each state's substance abuse data are translated to the standard TEDS data set. Crosswalks are revised as needed to reflect changes in State data systems and the addition of the TEDS discharge items. Crosswalks are reviewed at least annually by the States. Revisions to crosswalks are included here only after they are approved by the State and SAMHSA. Old versions
of revised and discontinued data items remain on the crosswalks
with their effective dates, and are shaded for identification. Use
